Hermès has made luxury truly audible: the French fashion house has introduced its first-ever pair of high-end headphones, priced at $15,000. The accessory is the result of a collaboration with Ateliers Horizons, the brand’s exclusive division dedicated to bespoke art objects and special commissions, as reported by Hypebeast.
Crafted with jewelry-like precision, the headphones draw design inspiration from the iconic Kelly bag, featuring the same metal accents and hand-stitched premium saddle leather. Each pair is both a piece of audio equipment and a work of applied art.
With production expected to be extremely limited, the headphones are poised to become not only a stylish gadget but also a collectible item. This move marks part of Hermès’ new strategy to expand into the luxury personal technology market.
