G-SHOCK has launched its new flagship MTGB4000 model, marking a significant milestone in the evolution of its premium MT-G lineup. The watch will be available in two versions — MTGB4000-1A and MTGB4000B1A2. These are the first G-SHOCK timepieces whose design was developed using generative AI: initial sketches were created by designers, then algorithms optimized the structure to enhance durability while preserving the signature rugged aesthetic of the MT-G series.

The result is an entirely new frame that significantly improves shock resistance while emphasizing MT-G’s characteristic bold elegance. The watch features an updated Dual Core Guard system with integrated bracelet connections, effectively absorbing external impacts and reducing stress on the internal case.

The MTGB4000’s case is crafted from laminated layers of carbon fiber and fiberglass, showcasing a striking multi-level silhouette with visible side layers. The bezel boasts intricate metal finishing: Sallaz mirror polishing, hairline texture, and reflective accents create a stunning contrast. The MTGB4000B1A2 version stands out with futuristic gray-blue ion-plated (IP) coating. The back cover, made using metal injection molding (MIM), offers added strength and complex geometry, while the sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating and multi-layer dial underscore the model’s premium quality.

Functionality remains front and center: the watch is equipped with Triple G Resist technology, Tough Solar charging, Bluetooth Smartphone Link, and Multi-Band 6 radio-controlled timekeeping. Additional features include world time for 27 cities, stopwatch, countdown timer, alarm, and bright Super Illuminator LED lighting.

The MTGB4000 models are priced at $1,250 and $1,350 respectively.
