The search is underway for Armenia’s participant for the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2025 in Georgia, Eurovoix.com writes.

Applications open today and close on August 10. Singers born between December 14, 2010, and December 13, 2016, who are citizens or residents of Armenia, are eligible to compete. Groups of up to six can compete, and individual singers can only apply to compete once. They are unable to be part of a group and a soloist. Applicants must submit covers of two well-known songs.

The selection will be held in two phases. In the first phase, online submissions will be reviewed, with acts selected to go through to live auditions. The live auditions will be held on August 13. This second round of auditions will determine the Armenian representative. The winner will be chosen by a professional jury and a focus group of Armenian and international experts.

The winner of the selection will then work with a creative team to determine their song for the competition in Georgia.

Leo represented Armenia at Junior Eurovision 2024 in Madrid. with “Cosmic Friend”. Armenia finished 8th in the final scoring 125 points. This was the nation’s worst result since the 2019 contest, where they finished 9th. Armenia received 12 points from the juries of France and Georgia.
