Armenian-American producer Sev Ohanian is once again making waves in Hollywood. His latest film, Sinners, has achieved a historic milestone at the 68th Annual Grammy Awards, earning five nominations and joining the ranks of the most-nominated films in Grammy history, The Armenian Report writes.
Directed by Ryan Coogler, Sinners is a dark, emotionally charged Southern Gothic drama that delves into themes of faith, guilt, and survival, blending horror and spirituality. The film has garnered acclaim for its distinctive storytelling and a powerful soundtrack that has now earned major recognition in the music industry.

The film dominated the visual media categories, receiving nominations for:
• Best Score Soundtrack for Film/TV – Composer Ludwig Göransson was recognized for his haunting, gospel-infused score, which amplifies the movie’s emotional intensity and spiritual depth.

With five nominations, Sinners now stands alongside legendary soundtracks from films such as The Bodyguard, Purple Rain, and A Star Is Born.
The movie debuted to impressive box office results, grossing $45.6 million in its opening weekend in the United States and an additional $15.4 million internationally, bringing its total to $61 million worldwide.
The 68th Annual Grammy Awards will take place on February 1, 2026, at Los Angeles’ Crypto.com Arena, where anticipation is high to see how many accolades Sinners will bring home.
