Kourtney Kardashian treated her followers to a warm trip down memory lane — back to a time when the famous surname meant nothing to the world. On Instagram, she posted a set of archival photos featuring herself, Kim, and Khloé.
She captioned the seven-photo carousel simply: “1999.”
One of the sweetest shots is a Christmas photo: the three sisters sit on a couch in matching leopard-print pajamas, holding presents wrapped in identical paper. Kourtney sits in the center, with Khloé and Kim on either side. In Khloé’s hands is a tiny camcorder — it seems she was in charge of family content even back then.

Adrienne Bailon-Houghton, a longtime friend of the family, chimed in the comments:
“ICONIC,” she wrote, adding a black heart.
The sisters’ love for leopard print lives on even today — exactly a year ago, Kim and Kourtney announced their Dolce & Gabbana x SKIMS collaboration, inspired by Italian glamour and the brand’s archival looks.
At the time, the fashion release became a turning point in their reconciliation after the high-profile conflict surrounding Kourtney’s wedding and Kim’s subsequent collaboration with Dolce & Gabbana. But as Kim later revealed on the Call Her Daddy podcast, over time the two learned to approach their disagreements and public criticism differently.
In the same interview, Kim recalled that early in their career, she and Kourtney could have stood up for Khloé more often, as the media frequently targeted her appearance.
“We just didn’t know how to respond. Those were our first interviews, our first shows. We didn’t understand what could be said and what couldn’t,” Kim admitted.
Today, the sisters navigate media far more confidently. In one recent episode of their show, Kendall Jenner praised Khloé’s Khloud Protein Popcorn photoshoot, telling her she “doesn’t need any advice at all.”
