$70,000 for a ticket: Now anyone can attend the Golden Globes—if they can afford it

22:30, November 26

For the first time, attending the Golden Globes is no longer exclusive to celebrities and industry insiders—but it comes with a hefty price tag. According to insiders, tickets to the ceremony can be purchased for $70,000 per couple through luxury lifestyle publication Robb Report and their concierge service, The Vault.

The package includes access to the red carpet, photo opportunities with stars, entry to the after-party, professional styling, accommodation at Peninsula Beverly Hills, and a limited-edition Golden Globes swag bag—previously reserved only for hosts and winners, according to Page Six.

Traditionally, Golden Globes tickets were unavailable to the general public, with seats reserved for nominees, sponsors, studios, and invited guests. A ceremony representative emphasized that “tickets to the show are not sold to the general public.”

However, through Robb Report, now owned by Penske Media (the new owners of the Golden Globes), tickets can be requested via a form on The Vault website. A concierge reviews the request and assists with the purchase.

In addition to tickets, buyers gain access to exclusive luxury items featured in Robb Report guides: a luxury yacht for $4.5 million, Cartier watches at $110,000, and a Chardonnay wine experience with Aspen adventures priced around $200,000.

Since Penske Media acquired the Golden Globes from the HFPA, the event has shifted into a fully commercial enterprise. In previous years, swag bags alone were valued at $1 million—now, both the cost and exclusivity of the packages have skyrocketed.

Insiders told Page Six that other new initiatives, such as the introduction of a “Best Podcast” category, are also seen by critics as ways to promote Penske-owned platforms like Variety and Luminate.
