Caviar unveils “Aladdin” — a gold-clad humanoid robot

22:16, January 23

Luxury brand Caviar has revealed a one-of-a-kind project: a lavish humanoid robot named Aladdin, built on Unitree Robotics’ G1 platform and reimagined as a cultural collectible. The robot stands out with its rich ornamentation, gold accents, and traditional design, giving it a distinct artistic identity. It is aimed at private buyers who value craftsmanship, heritage, and cutting-edge technology combined in a single creation.

Caviar emphasizes that Aladdin is not intended for mass production. It is a commission-only project available to select clients. Each robot is handcrafted and adorned with gold details and precious stones. The exterior design draws inspiration from traditional Arab garments such as the chapan and caftan, with curves and layered patterns echoing ceremonial robes once worn by nobility.

According to the company, the primary goal was to preserve beauty and cultural identity, making Aladdin more of a decorative art object than a standard machine.

At its core, Aladdin is powered by the Unitree G1 platform, featuring 23 degrees of freedom, allowing it to walk confidently, balance, and move its arms smoothly. The robot stands 130 cm tall and weighs around 35 kg.

The robot is equipped with advanced actuators and a stabilization system that enable natural movement. Caviar explains that the concept is inspired by the tales of One Thousand and One Nights, where magic is replaced by artificial intelligence. In this interpretation, Aladdin becomes a symbol of intelligence and progress rather than pure fantasy.

Personalization is central to the project. Buyers can work closely with designers to choose patterns, symbols, and materials, ensuring each robot becomes a truly unique piece.

Caviar has not disclosed release details or pricing, as these are handled privately with clients.
