The young cast of HBO’s upcoming Harry Potter adaptation is earning impressive salaries for the first season.
Twelve-year-old Scottish actor Dominic McLaughlin will play Harry, 11-year-old Arabella Stanton is cast as Hermione Granger, and 12-year-old Alastair Stout will take on the role of Ron Weasley.
According to reports, each child will earn £500,000 for the first season, averaging £60,000 per episode.
“That’s a huge sum for three kids who haven’t even turned 13 yet. If this trend continues, they could become multimillionaires before they hit 18. They’re about to become some of the most famous children in the world,” a source told The Sun.
The trio was selected from over 32,000 applicants for the seven-episode series, set to premiere on Christmas 2026. HBO has already released the first trailer and an official image showing young Harry in Quidditch robes atop a Nimbus 2000 broom.
The trailer traces Harry’s early story—from the Dursleys’ abuse to his first encounter with the friendly Hagrid and arrival at Hogwarts.
Fans have been buzzing over the trailer and official images, expressing excitement and anticipation for the series premiere.
