K-pop supergroup BTS is rewriting the charts once again. Their new single Swim has surged to No. 1 on the U.S. Digital Song Sales chart, outperforming major names like Eminem and Beyoncé.
The track debuted at the top in its first week, selling more than 95,000 digital copies in the U.S. alone. The real numbers are believed to be even higher, as fans also snapped up physical versions of the single.
With Swim, BTS now scores its 13th No. 1 hit on the Digital Song Sales chart. The milestone puts the group ahead of several major artists and ties them with Justin Bieber for the same number of chart-toppers.
As a result, BTS now holds one of the top spots among the most successful acts in the chart’s history.
And the dominance doesn’t stop there. In the latest ranking, BTS nearly swept the top tier: 13 of their songs landed on the chart, with none falling below No. 15. The only track preventing a complete takeover of the upper positions was Choosin’ Texas by Ella Langley.
BTS now finds itself alongside some of the biggest names in the industry. Only a handful of artists remain ahead, including Taylor Swift, who still holds the all-time record for the most No. 1 hits on the chart.
At this pace, BTS continues to cement its status as one of the most influential groups in modern music.
