Johnny Depp rarely steps onto red carpets these days – especially in Los Angeles – but this time, he made it count.
The actor marked the launch of his new rum brand, Three Hearts, turning the evening into a full-blown rock ’n’ roll party at the Wilshire Ebell Theatre.

A mix of close friends and music legends showed up to support him. Among the guests were Steven Tyler, Beck, Josh Homme, Matt Helders and Jerry Cantrell. Also spotted in the crowd: Jerry Bruckheimer, Bill Burr, Rauw Alejandro and Rain Phoenix.
In a surprise twist, the night’s musical highlight came courtesy of Matteo Bocelli, son of legendary tenor Andrea Bocelli.

Depp spent the evening mingling with guests and fans, staying close to his business partner and co-founder Bobby DeLeon.
The idea for the rum had been years in the making. More than just a business venture, the project was conceived as a story about friendship, personal symbolism and a deep connection to the Caribbean – a region closely tied to Depp’s life. The actor owns a private island in the Bahamas, where he spends much of his time.

Depp was personally involved in designing the bottle, filling it with symbols drawn from his life. The design includes references to his tattoos, his philosophy and the people closest to him – including former partner Vanessa Paradis and their children, Lily-Rose Depp and Jack Depp. Every detail carries meaning, from a skull symbolizing living life to the fullest to a lightning bolt representing friendship.
The brand’s slogan reads like a personal mantra: “No Fear. No Malice. No Envy.”

“Rum carries the history of the islands. We wanted to create something that honors that tradition and the connections that inspired us,” Depp said.
Judging by the atmosphere, he delivered. The launch felt less like a product debut and more like a night where music, personal stories and a touch of Caribbean spirit came together.
