The 39-year-old actress returned to social media last month after a long hiatus. Since coming back, the Transformers star has been actively posting a series of bold and highly stylized images, which are freely available to her more than 24 million followers.

Industry figures say Fox could be significantly under-monetising her influence by not moving this type of content to subscription-based platforms such as OnlyFans.

Adult industry model Addison James suggested the actress could be earning upwards of $10 million per month. “Celebrities already come with massive audiences,” she said. “Their earning potential starts at a completely different level — it’s all about attention.”

PR expert Brian Scott Gross also argued that Fox is effectively giving away one of her most valuable assets. “Her Instagram is a powerful marketing machine for a product she is not yet selling,” he said.

However, not all industry voices agree that a move to OnlyFans would guarantee easy income. Model Demora Avaris warned that such a shift could carry reputational risks.

“Many actresses face backlash — audiences often perceive it as a quick cash grab,” she said.

Despite her provocative public image, Fox has never appeared fully nude on screen. In past interviews, she has said she avoids explicit scenes out of consideration for her children.

That said, she did appear in a provocative scene in the 2024 Netflix thriller Subservience, though overall she has maintained a relatively restrained approach compared to many Hollywood peers.

In recent years, Fox’s career has seen a decline, with films such as Expend4bles, Good Mourning, and Johnny & Clyde receiving poor reviews from both critics and audiences.

At the height of her fame in the late 2000s, Fox was one of Hollywood’s most prominent stars, appearing in major blockbusters and collaborating with global brands including Armani and Acer.
