Imagine landing, but not knowing which country. Yes, such a thing is possible, and it happened yesterday at Zvartnots Airport...
A group of travelers from London only discovered that they were in Armenia after the flight. They are participants in another edition of Wizz Air’s “Let’s Get Lost” campaign, who boarded the plane not knowing their final destination, and at the Yerevan airport they were already “encountered” by Armenian hospitality: zurna, dhol, Armenian dances with the traditional song and dance group “Karin”.
The initiative is implemented in conjunction with the Tourism Committee of the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Armenia.
This mysterious flight brought together travelers, social media influencers, journalists and adventurers as part of one of Wizz Air’s most popular experiential tours.
After the airport, the tourists immediately headed to the National Gallery of Armenia, where they were warmly welcomed and greeted. Here, the travelers will stay for three days and enjoy not only the spring coolness of the capital Yerevan, but also the picturesque nature and historical sites of Armenia.

In an interview with NEWS.am STYLE (see video), the travelers noted that they were impressed: they had no idea that they would end up in Armenia, but the Armenian welcome and dances inspired them even more and provided them with a wonderful vacation. The guests admit that they don’t know much about Armenia (well, except for the Kardashians), but they are sure that they will have an educational and rich visit, during which they will get acquainted with the country’s history, culture and important places.
Armenia is a unique destination that has much to offer travelers, from a rich history and vibrant culture to warm hospitality and spectacular landscapes, says Vera Jardan, Corporate Communications Manager at Wizz Air.
“We are delighted to finally reveal Armenia as the destination of this edition of the ‘Let’s Get Lost’ campaign. Seeing the excitement and surprise of passengers when they discovered where they had landed was truly special. Armenia is an incredible destination with so much to offer travelers — from its rich history and vibrant culture to its warm hospitality and stunning scenery. Through initiatives like ‘Let’s Get Lost’, Wizz Air is proud to support tourism growth and encourage travelers to discover new and exciting places across our network,” she adds.
Lusine Gevorgyan, Chairperson of the Tourism Committee of the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Armenia, also highlights the importance of this initiative, noting: “We are also proud that Armenia has become one of the countries where this campaign is being implemented. This initiative perfectly reflects the spirit of modern travel - curiosity, discovery, and authentic experiences. We are confident that visitors will leave Armenia with vivid impressions and warm memories.”
This initiative comes ahead of Wizz Air's new direct flight from London to Yerevan, scheduled to begin on June 12, 2026.
