Travelers who didn’t know they were coming to Armenia: Wizz Air’s “Let’s Get Lost” initiative and passengers thrilled by Armenian dances and hospitality (photo, video)

11:30, May 10

Imagine landing, but not knowing which country. Yes, such a thing is possible, and it happened yesterday at Zvartnots Airport...

A group of travelers from London only discovered that they were in Armenia after the flight. They are participants in another edition of Wizz Air’s “Let’s Get Lost” campaign, who boarded the plane not knowing their final destination, and at the Yerevan airport they were already “encountered” by Armenian hospitality: zurna, dhol, Armenian dances with the traditional song and dance group “Karin”.

The initiative is implemented in conjunction with the Tourism Committee of the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Armenia.

This mysterious flight brought together travelers, social media influencers, journalists and adventurers as part of one of Wizz Air’s most popular experiential tours.

After the airport, the tourists immediately headed to the National Gallery of Armenia, where they were warmly welcomed and greeted. Here, the travelers will stay for three days and enjoy not only the spring coolness of the capital Yerevan, but also the picturesque nature and historical sites of Armenia.

In an interview with NEWS.am STYLE (see video), the travelers noted that they were impressed: they had no idea that they would end up in Armenia, but the Armenian welcome and dances inspired them even more and provided them with a wonderful vacation. The guests admit that they don’t know much about Armenia (well, except for the Kardashians), but they are sure that they will have an educational and rich visit, during which they will get acquainted with the country’s history, culture and important places.
