"The Ultimate Revenge Body": Men Spend Up to $25,000 on Penis Fillers and Makeovers to Look Flawless for Pride Parade

11:18, June 29

Massive parade floats are far from the only thing catching eyes at annual summer marches. Ahead of the massive Pride parade in Manhattan, Jason (name changed), a 36-year-old financier, shelled out over $3,000 just to look flawless below the belt, the New York Post reports.

Since Jason planned to join the march wearing next to nothing, and the odds of running into exes or potential suitors were incredibly high, the New Yorker opted for full laser hair removal and fillers to increase his penis girth. "The breakup revenge body is a very real thing," he admitted. "I want to look my absolute best. If I meet someone, I need to be locked and loaded."

Jason is far from alone in trying to get "jacked" for the summer in every sense of the word. Gay men—including single Wall Street sharks and wealthy DINK (double income, no kids) couples—are sparing no expense in the pursuit of love. Complete face and body overhauls can cost up to $25,000, including temporary intimate fillers.

"The Super Bowl of the Gay Community"

"For the gay community, the Pride parade is like the Super Bowl or the World Cup final," explains Manhattan plastic surgeon Dr. Douglas Steinbrech. "You have to look flawless. The stakes are too high—it’s like prom on steroids. A lot of people fall in love right on the float while it's moving. It could be a weekend fling, or it could be the love of your life."

Larry, a 62-year-old former dancer and bartender, underwent a comprehensive series of procedures with Dr. Steinbrech, including a face and neck lift, abdominal etching, and a Brazilian butt lift (fat transfer to the buttocks). "This week is like preparing for the Oscars," shares Larry, whose parade outfit consists solely of jeans and a leather harness over his bare chest. "My backside is no accident. I tell people it's from my days dancing on Broadway, but really it's my surgeon—he’s a true artist. The results look subtle and natural."

"They Used to Buy Porsches, Now They Enhance Their Manhood"

Some feel there is no room for cutting corners. One airline flight attendant anonymously admitted to dropping $15,000 purely on penis injections just for his Sunday parade appearance. "Everyone is flirting, and I plan on wearing tight white shorts and a mesh tank top," the 46-year-old said. "It's expensive, but the results are worth it: everything feels heavier, bulkier, and more beautiful."

His physician, plastic surgeon Dr. David Shafer, notes that his office is swamped with patients just before "speedo season" kicks off. Treatments range from intimate fillers and PRP therapy (platelet-rich plasma) to scrotoplasty. According to the doctor, some clients leave with results "the size of a Coca-Cola can." "Guys often tell me they notice people giving them that evaluative look, staring straight down. That never used to happen to them before, and it’s a massive ego boost," Dr. Shafer points out. "You know, men in a midlife crisis used to just buy a Porsche. Now, they go out and redo their dicks."
