Brooklyn Beckham Flaunts Bond with Billionaire Father-in-Law After Reportedly Slapping David and Victoria with Legal Notice

16:17, June 29

A new chapter has unfolded in the ongoing, high-stakes drama between Brooklyn Beckham and his famous parents. Nicola Peltz recently took to social media to share a glimpse of their domestic life, highlighting an incredibly tight-knit bond between her 27-year-old husband and her billionaire father, Nelson Peltz.

In an Instagram video posted by Nicola, Brooklyn and the 84-year-old tycoon are seen enthusiastically picking out produce at a farmer's market and joking in the aisles, before walking off together and leaving the rest of the family behind. Nicola playfully captioned the moment: "They abandoned us."

This very public display of affection comes amid an icy standstill between Brooklyn and his own parents, David and Victoria Beckham, whom he hasn’t spoken to in over a year.

Following Nelson Peltz's 84th birthday last week, Brooklyn didn't miss the chance to publicly profess his love for the Peltz patriarch. Posting a photo of them wearing matching cowboy hats at a family bash in Florida, Brooklyn wrote: "Happy birthday Nelson! I love you so much. I'm so happy I got to celebrate today with you! Thank you for being the best father-in-law in the world," capping the message off with a string of heart emojis.

This picture-perfect tribute raised eyebrows, considering that just a week prior, Brooklyn completely snubbed Father's Day, failing to acknowledge David Beckham entirely.

"Leave Me Alone": Brooklyn Furious over Beckham Peace Offerings

Over that same Father's Day weekend, David and Victoria tried to extend an olive branch by including Brooklyn in their celebratory social media posts. David shared a throwback photo with his eldest son, writing: "Being a father is my most important job. I love you all."

However, behind the scenes, Brooklyn was reportedly furious. "He’s absolutely livid," a source told The Sun. "Brooklyn has already asked them to leave him alone, but they keep posting photos of him. He wants them to draw a line under it and stop."

The family rift reportedly reached a point of no return ahead of last Christmas when Brooklyn blocked his parents on Instagram, and his legal team served the Beckhams with a formal notice requesting that all future communications go strictly through their lawyers.

A Controversial $1 Million Commercial Shot

Adding fuel to the fire is Brooklyn's recent two-part commercial for food delivery giant DoorDash, a gig that reportedly bagged him a cool $1 million.

In the teaser clip, Brooklyn smirks at the camera and says: "You’re probably wondering why I’m watching the 2026 World Cup from home?.. It’s a long story." Many viewers took this as a direct, cynical swipe at his legendary footballer father.

Friends of the Beckham family claim that David and Victoria are "devastated and heartbroken" by the ad. "To make a commercial exploiting the family rift like it’s some kind of joke while his parents are crushed, and his younger sister and grandparents are beside themselves, is shocking. Especially from someone who claims he wants peace and privacy," an insider shared.

This follows a massive escalation in January when Brooklyn released a scathing six-page statement formally separating himself from the "Beckham Brand." In it, he accused his parents of controlling behavior, attempting to drive a wedge into his marriage with Nicola, and dismissed their public displays of grief as "performative."
