Rob Kardashian, who has largely stayed out of the public eye for years, has made a rare appearance in new family photos shared by his sister Khloé Kardashian following her 42nd birthday celebration.

“I’m so incredibly grateful! A few people are missing, but they’re always with us,” Khloé captioned the Instagram carousel.

One of the photos shows Rob posing alongside his mother, Kris Jenner, sisters Kim and Kourtney Kardashian, and his 9-year-old daughter Dream, whom he shares with model Blac Chyna.

Rob also left a rare public comment under his sister’s post, writing: “We’re so lucky to have you! We all love you so much!”

The 39-year-old’s appearance quickly caught fans’ attention. Many commented that Rob looked happy and healthy.

“Thank you for sharing Rob. It’s so nice to see he’s doing well,” one fan wrote.

Rob has largely withdrawn from public life over the past several years. He has previously spoken candidly about struggling with body image and weight gain, explaining that his insecurities kept him away from cameras.

“It’s all about me. There’s no family drama or anything like that,” Rob previously said. “I’m just not comfortable in my own skin, so I don’t want to be on camera or put myself out there.”

According to PEOPLE, Rob has been feeling much more confident in recent months. A source told the magazine that he has become less concerned about public criticism, is no longer preoccupied with what others think, and has been spending more time with his family while slowly reconnecting with fans.

Rob Kardashian first rose to fame on Keeping Up with the Kardashians, but has largely stepped away from reality television in recent years, choosing to lead a far more private life.
