"Billionaires’ Vagina Club": Inside Silicon Valley's most exclusive and expensive gynecological service

21:33, July 2

An exclusive gynecological practice, colloquially and boldly dubbed the "Billionaires’ Vagina Club," is gaining massive popularity in Silicon Valley. Wives of tech moguls, top executives, and philanthropists are willing to shell out tens of thousands of dollars a year for the sake of "healthmaxxing"—maximizing bodily optimization and extending sexual youthfulness.

The ironic term was coined by the clinic's founder herself, Sally Greenwald, an associate professor of clinical gynecology at Stanford University. However, as The New Yorker reports, the doctor later had to drop the flashy moniker, as some of her ultra-wealthy patients failed to see the humor in it.

The cost of an annual membership at Greenwald’s clinic starts at $10,000 and exceeds $30,000 for the VIP tier. This fee includes hour-long appointments, 24/7 access to the doctor, customized wellness programs, and concierge support.

Star patients from the tech world

Sally Greenwald’s clinic quickly became the worst-kept secret among San Francisco's elite. Her client and investor roster includes:

  • Priscilla Chan: The wife of Mark Zuckerberg, who has personally hosted private events featuring Greenwald as a speaker.

  • Sheryl Sandberg: The former COO of Meta. She described the doctor as "brilliant, energetic, and passionate" and is currently writing a blurb for Greenwald's upcoming book.

  • Gisel Kordestani: Entrepreneur and wife of former Twitter chairman Omid Kordestani. She recently organized a private gathering of patients at her luxurious mansion in Atherton.

  • Nicole Lacob: Head of the Golden State Warriors' charitable foundation and wife of the basketball club's majority owner, Joe Lacob.

Trading longevity for "sexspan"

While Silicon Valley men remain obsessed with biohacking and extending "lifespan," Dr. Greenwald encourages women to focus on "sexspan"—the number of years a woman remains sexually active and healthy. In her view, high-quality sex improves sleep, reduces stress, and strengthens relationships. "I'm always thinking: 'What's next? What can be improved? Why not try this?' Medicine has ignored menopause and female libido for far too long. It's time to shift from treating illness to proactively enhancing quality of life," Greenwald shares.

A standard visit to the gynecologist has been transformed here into a comprehensive investigation. The package of services includes:

  • Deep monitoring of hormonal profiles and advanced blood panels.

  • Full-body MRIs and health metric tracking via wearable gadgets.

  • Hormone replacement therapy (including testosterone) and personalized sex coaching.

Dr. Greenwald goes above and beyond for her clients: her appointments last for hours, she is available by phone from early morning until late at night, conducts house calls, and occasionally greets patients personally as they step off their private jets.

Despite the steep prices, demand for Greenwald’s services continues to surge, and the waiting list for her clinic currently stretches months into the future.
