The Eiffel Tower had some fierce competition in terms of sparkle with Jennifer Lopez in town, People writes.
The superstar’s time at Paris for Haute Couture Fashion Week was spent in style and ringing in her 57th birthday early with her loved ones, including her lookalike sister, Lynda, by her side.
Of course it wouldn’t be a JLo festivity without a parade of high-fashion looks, so she worked with her stylist team, Rob Zangardi and Mariel Haenn, on a wardrobe that brought the sequins, the diamonds and the megawatt glam (literally, since she wore over 400 carats’ worth of diamonds).
Lopez, whose birthday is on July 24, shared a close-up look at all of her outfit changes in an Instagram post.
The first look featured in the carousel was a dramatic Stephane Rolland white turtleneck babydoll gown made with a flouncy skirt that showed off her white shoes, which were made to look like a detached part of the skirt.

And while the outfit was monochromatic, she put a dramatic touch of sparkle in a collection of Chopard Haute Joaillerie pieces: a neckpiece and drop earrings that boasted 42.20 carats of pear-shaped rubies and 112.54 carats of pear and asscher-cut diamonds altogether. She also wore a Chopard Green Carper Collection ring with a 2.82 -caratmarquise diamond set on 18K white gold.
Lopez’s sartorial escapade also saw her wearing a crystal-covered Zuhair Murad naked gown teamed with a feathered cape paired with Chopard earrings crafted with 6.28 carats’ worth of round and brilliant cut diamonds in addition to 68.03 carats of round-shaped white pearls.
Old Hollywood was also brought to life with Lopez’s Tamara Ralph black lace gown paired with a showstopping arrangement of Chopard pieces including a 190.55-carat diamond necklace, a 19.22-carat pair of diamond earrings, 73.69-carat diamond bracelet set in 18K white gold and an 18K white gold ring boasting nearly 6 carats of diamonds alone.
“Just this feeling…Birthday celebrations in Paris!” Lopez began in the caption of the July 10 carousel.
“Thank you to Anastasia and Claudia for throwing me the most beautiful birthday dinner party in Paris…I love you both forever. To Stéphane Rolland and Tamara Ralph for all your generosity and support over so many years! Mariel, Benny, and my entire fam…thank you for always being by my side and for making my sister’s dream trip to Paris come true in the most beautiful way possible.”
She also added a special message to Lynda, whose birthday was on June 14. “I love you doesn’t begin to encapsulate how I feel about you baby sister!!”
