First Lady Melania Trump made a rare public appearance to support her husband, President Donald Trump, as the couple attended the FIFA Men's World Cup final on Sunday. The high-stakes match between Argentina and Spain took place at the New York/New Jersey Stadium (also known as MetLife Stadium).

The 56-year-old First Lady opted for an elegant and symbolic outfit for the occasion: crisp white trousers and a matching shirt, paired with a light-tan blazer featuring a subtle patriotic detail in the U.S. flag colors—red, white, and blue. Being European-born, her attire made it clear that she wasn't favoring either Spain or Argentina, maintaining a stylish neutrality.

Before kickoff, Melania and Donald Trump were spotted in the stadium’s VIP box alongside Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum and FIFA President Gianni Infantino.

Donald Trump also played a direct role in the post-match ceremony. FIFA President Gianni Infantino had previously confirmed that the U.S. President would personally hand over the trophy to the winning team's captain.

"The President's presence will serve as a fitting conclusion to what has already been recognized as the most-watched, secure, and successful World Cup in U.S. history," stated White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt.
