A genuine "wedding war" has erupted in the world of social media. 29-year-old reality TV star and influencer Brielle Biermann found herself at the center of fierce criticism after posting a video in a wedding dress suspiciously resembling the gown of popular blogger Bridget Phetasy (Acquired Style) — Note: Bridget Felung / Phetasy context.
This past weekend, Bridget Felung celebrated her second, luxurious wedding in Newport, Rhode Island, marrying her long-time partner Mitch McHale. For the celebration, she chose a stunning off-the-shoulder Vera Wang gown featuring abstract gazar flowers and delicate roses along the hem of the train.

Just hours after the first photos of the bride in this dress appeared online, Brielle Biermann (daughter of Real Housewives star Kim Zolciak-Biermann) published a video of herself trying on the exact same dress. In the caption, Brielle explained that this was a gown she had "almost chosen" for her own upcoming wedding to baseball player Billy Seidl, but ultimately went with a different one.
Followers instantly perceived malicious intent and accused Brielle of trying to hype off someone else's celebration: "Trying to steal the spotlight from Acquired Style's wedding is a very bad look, babe."
However, there were also those who came to the girl's defense, noting that bloggers often post archive fitting videos ahead of their own weddings, and the coincidence could easily be accidental.

Under a wave of hate, Biermann was forced to urgently reach out and publish proof screenshots on Instagram Stories. She showed that she had edited the video on Friday — before Felung's wedding even began — and the post itself had been automatically scheduled by a content manager for Sunday.
Brielle also publicly addressed Bridget, wishing her a happy married life and urging her to enjoy her dream dress. Felung herself later shared official photos from the celebration, calling the gown a "fairy tale dress."
