Donald Trump’s hair is once again the subject of heated online debate after the president appeared in New Jersey sporting a noticeably different hairstyle.

This time, Trump appeared to have a darker shade of hair and his familiar comb-over — but with the part switched to the opposite side. The new look immediately sent the internet into a frenzy of speculation about what exactly is going on atop the president’s head.

“Make America Glamorous Again!”

Trump’s latest hairstyle quickly caught the attention of critics on social media.

The latest transformation came just weeks after observers began wondering whether the president had started using a new hairpiece to add volume and conceal a noticeable bald spot.

“What the hell is going on with Trump’s hair?” journalist Aaron Rupar wrote on X, alongside photos of the president’s new look.

Social media users were quick to weigh in.

“Did Grandpa buy a new wig?” one commenter asked.

“Trump has entered that stage of life when older women start experimenting with their hair color,” another critic snarked.

“President Trump is making America glamorous again!” another user joked.

“Wig manufacturers can’t keep up with Trump’s transformations.”

“It looks like that thing could run away from his head at any moment.”

Donald Trump Insists He Doesn’t Wear a Wig

Trump has repeatedly denied rumors that he wears a wig.

During remarks in the White House Rose Garden on September 2, the president addressed the ongoing speculation about his hairstyle himself, declaring: “I don’t wear a wig.”

At times, Trump’s hairstyle has appeared to reveal a fairly large bald spot beneath his carefully sculpted comb-over — particularly when the wind disrupts its seemingly flawless construction.

To some observers, the hair covering the area has looked like a hairpiece resembling cotton candy.

Trump’s Hair Allegedly Has Its Own “Repair Kit”

Meanwhile, Trump biographer Michael Wolff has offered a very different explanation for what may be going on.

In a September 5 episode of the Inside Trump’s Head podcast, Wolff claimed that Trump travels with a portable “repair kit” for his hair containing small strands that can be used to adjust his appearance.

According to Wolff, the kit contains “small tufts of hair matching whatever color his hair happens to be at the time.”

The biographer admitted, however, that he does not know exactly who attaches the strands to the president’s head or what is used to secure them. He merely speculated that it involves “some kind of paste.”
