Celine Dion Loses Her Balance on Stage in Paris, Leaving Fans Worried

12:16, October 9

Celine Dion has once again left fans concerned about her health. During her latest concert in Paris, the singer not only forgot the lyrics to one of her own songs but also lost her balance on stage, raising questions about the future of her concert series.

The 58-year-old star made a triumphant return to the stage last month, launching a series of concerts in the French capital. Her comeback came after she was forced to cancel a previous tour while battling stiff-person syndrome.

During her 11th performance, held on Wednesday at Paris La Défense Arena, Dion became emotional while singing Pour Que Tu M’aimes Encore.

In a video posted on Instagram, the singer can be seen addressing the audience: “I understood all the words, I understood everything perfectly, thank you.”

However, moments later, she stopped and admitted, “I’m forgetting the words,” before covering her face with her hands.

The audience joined in and helped Dion continue the song. The singer soon managed to compose herself and thanked the crowd.

“How lucky I am that you’re here. Forgive me,” she said.

According to French newspaper Le Parisien, Dion also lost her balance while performing another song, Un Autre Monde. However, she quickly recovered, got back on her feet, and gave the audience a thumbs-up to signal that she was okay.

In December 2022, the singer revealed that she had been diagnosed with stiff-person syndrome, a rare neurological disorder that causes muscle stiffness and painful spasms.

At its most debilitating, the condition left Dion struggling to walk normally and use her voice as she once had. The illness ultimately forced her to cancel her tour.
