Six new Gondolo Ladies First models from Patek Philippe bring together historic design, Art Deco aesthetics and high jewelry craftsmanship. Unveiled at the Watch Art Grand Exhibition in Milan, the collection reinterprets the Swiss watchmaker’s classic line, transforming timepieces into refined accessories for everyday wear.
For the exhibition, Patek Philippe transformed Milan’s CityOval venue, recreating Geneva’s iconic Jet d’Eau fountain, the façade of its signature boutique and the private salons of its manufacture. Among historic timepieces and rare works of decorative art, the new Gondolo Ladies First collection was a particular highlight.

The line has a rich history. Originally created for the Brazilian market, Gondolo watches have evolved over time, with their distinctive shapes becoming part of the brand’s design heritage. The new collection takes inspiration from the 2009 Ladies First Chronograph, Patek Philippe’s first women’s watch to feature an in-house manually wound chronograph movement.
All six models share a cushion-shaped case with softly contoured lines that evoke the Art Deco era. Articulated lugs ensure a comfortable fit on the wrist, while the dials and precious details give each version its own character.

Three models embody understated elegance. Their opaline dials, available in blue-gray, chestnut and silver tones, feature concentric wave patterns and are framed by 108 diamonds. Calfskin straps — two designed to imitate the texture of denim — lend these jeweled timepieces a relaxed, contemporary feel.

The three Joaillerie versions take a more spectacular approach to sparkle. Each is set with 687 diamonds, while colored gemstones serve as hour markers. Blue topaz is paired with a peacock-blue alligator leather strap, green tsavorites with a matching green strap, and purple amethysts complement the rich color palette of the third model.

All six new timepieces are powered by Patek Philippe’s E15 quartz movement, making them practical for everyday wear.
Prices vary according to the design. The three more understated models in white or rose gold are priced at $37,510 each. The jeweled versions, set with diamonds and accented with colored gemstones, cost $68,768.
