Short tail of spermatozoid sign of male infertility

17:17, November 22

The length of a spermatozoid is likely to be a key factor for the male infertility, Strana Vrachey informs.

The experts have studied sperms of more than hundred men, according to the data published in Human Reproduction journal, which claim that long spermatozoids with a longer tail and a higher ratio of tail length to the length of the head are moving better. These signs also speak about higher concentration of a sperm.

“The findings may assist in diagnosing and treating men infertility, which makes 50 percent of all cases of infertility,” Jim Mossman from Brown University claimed.
