People who prefer vegetarian food are more active in their sexual life as compared to those eating meat, U.S. scientists claim.
The author of the research Michael Wasserman took up the experiment still at Berkeley University, and studied the behavior of monkeys. It took him 11 months and he found out that the more the monkeys ate leaves of Millettia dura tree, which contains a substance like estrogen, the greater their body held estradiol and cortisol, eurosmi.ru informs.
According to the U.S. scientist, frequent consumption of meat, eggs and dairy products leads to increase of cholesterol. At the same time, problems in the sexual life are connected to congestion and slowing of blood flow in the genitals. Thus, vegetarians are not included in the risk groups on heart diseases, diabetes, cancer and insults.
