The famous American actor and comic Robin Williams, who took his own life Tuesday at age 63, struggled with the Parkinson's disease as well as with depression and anxiety, revealed his wife-Susan Schneider.

"Robin's sobriety was intact and he was brave as he struggled with his own battles of depression, anxiety as well as early stages of Parkinson's disease, which he was not yet ready to share publicly," said Schneider, LA Times reported.

Parkinson's disease is a degenerative chronic disorder of the central nervous system.The symptoms of Parkinson's disease result from the death of dopamine-generating cells in the brain.
