YEREVAN. - Bass guitar virtuoso and jazz rock master Richard Bona today gave a concert at Yerevan’s K. Demirchyan Sports and Concert Complex as part of Yerevan Jazz Fest 2015 (photos).
The concert which lasted for around two hours, did not pass without an “incident.” During the concert one of the girls from the audience cried: “Bona, will you marry me?” The musician answered with a joke: “Of course I’ll marry you if you’ve got money.”
Bona interrupted his performances with monologues, during which he said: “I have been to Paris, Rio de Janeiro, and now I’m in Yerevan; my favorite one is Yerevan. This is the first and hopefully not the last time I’ve been here.” After the concert Richard Bona had to return to the stage and sing two more times upon the demand of the spectators.
There were also people who took selfies with Bona and accompanied him singing. And, of course, there were endless applauses.
