YEREVAN. – NEWS.am STYLE continues its weekly public notices regarding the noteworthy cultural events taking place in Yerevan, the capital city of Armenia.
On Monday, from 8pm to 10:30pm, the traditional 14th event devoted to Astronomy Day and renowned Armenian astronomer Victor Ambartsumian will be held at the Cafesjian Center for the Arts.
On Wednesday at 7pm, the work, entitled “The Weeping Giaconda,” will be unveiled at 13 Abovyan Street in downtown Yerevan, as a gift to the capital city and in memory of Famous Armenian film director Sergei Parajanov.
On the same day at 9:30pm, the Kami Friends Project band will perform at Kami Club. Admission is 3,000 drams.
On Thursday, a cycling event will get underway at Republic Square, and within the framework of Independence Day.
On the same day at 9pm, a rock music evening with numerous hits will be held at Stop Club.
And on Sunday at 8pm, the Miss Armenia beauty pageant will take place at the Opera and Ballet National Academic Theater.
Admission is 3,000 to 5,000 drams.
