Famous composer and pianist with Armenian origins Michel Legrand and beautiful Italian actress Ornella Muti are in Yerevan. They are here taking part in a concert dedicated to the 26th anniversary of Armenian independence and 10th anniversary of the program “Armenians by origin”.
“When I was little my grandfather usually was talking about Armenia, and now I’m here. Unfortunately I was 10 years old when he died, but I remember that he was always talking about his village, which was distracted. He was always present in my music. He was a musician, and was playing ud”,-said Legrand.
As for Ornella Muti, she is in Armenia for the second time.
“It’s obvious I love Armenia, I have a lot of Armenian friends, one of them is Arthur Azadyan, who has invited me to this wonderful concert. I’m very happy, I’m very glad. I love Armenia, I love the food, and I think the women are wonderful”,-says Muti admitting that she has not seen much in Armenia, yet, because the actress had a very strict routine here.
