Renowned Armenian filmmaker Ruben Kochar will soon introduce his controversial movie, which is entitled “My Name is Viola.”
This psychological drama is about a girl that fights for her freedom and whose world is full of loneliness and debasing; she wishes to escape from all that, though it seems hopeless. Subsequently, she meets a girl named Anna, whose world seems wonderful.
Kochar cast American-Armenian actress Janet Spencer and designer-by-profession Lusine Alexanian for the two main roles. And the part of young Hrant, who falls in love with Anna, is played by Maxence Kouzoubachian, from France, who is known from the French television films aired on Canal+, M6, and ARTE.
Judging from the movie trailer, “My Name is Viola” is intended for an audience over the age of eighteen.
