Kylie Jenner has wiped more than $1.5billion from Snapchat’s market value after she sensationally admitted she doesn’t use the app anymore, according to Bloomberg. The social media starlet recently made her return to all of her platforms following the birth of her daughter, but there’s one that has not been graced with her face. Despite being the queen of Snapchat, for her the app has died a death as she admitted she no longer even opens it. So now the app has withered and died from neglect after it’s main source of nourishment has gone.

Kim Kardashian half-sister slashed seven per cent off parent firm Snap’s shares when she tweeted “sooo does anyone else not open Snapchat anymore? Or is it just me... ugh this is so sad.”

Shares of the Snapchat parent company sank 6.1 percent on Thursday, wiping out $1.3 billion in market value, on the heels of a tweet on Wednesday from Kylie Jenner, who said she doesn’t open the app anymore. Whether it’s the demands of her newfound motherhood, or the recent app redesign, the testament drew similar replies from her 24.5 million followers. Wall Street analysts too have begun to notice, citing recent user engagement trends noticed since the platform’s redesign.
