Armenian representative at Eurovision 2017-Artsvik is again in hometown. She came to Yerevan days ago to take part in Tsisternak Music Awards as a guest star.

It has already become a good tradition for us to meet Artsvik during her visits to Armenia. This time was not an exception as well, and we not only have managed to take an interview but also organized an interesting photoshoot special for NEWS.am STYLE.

During our interview we spoke about Artsvik’s new song, which she represented during the Music Awards. At first the song didn’t have a title, now Artsvik is ready to reveal it.

“We decided to name it Indznic lavy chka/There’s no one as good as me. We chose that title because that was the most beloved phrase of the song, besides we had also announced a competition on my page and my fans also voted for that variant. So, the song which was composed by Sosi Khanikyan and Lilith Navasardyan finally got its beautiful title. By the way, I also think to have a music video on that song”,-says Artsvik.

During Tsisternak Music Awards a lot of Armenian singers were awarded in different nominations. We were interested whether Artsvik sees herself in any of that nominations in the near future.

“I haven’t thought about that. You know, I think everything will happen at its proper time”,-she says.

The singer, who has not had the opportunity to have some rest after Eurovision Song Contest, says she is already feeling the pressure, but hometown gives her a lot of positive charges.

“Yes, I sometimes feel very tired, but whenever I come to Armenia I feel very calm and I manage to have some rest. Armenia gives me some power to continue with my job”.

As we were having a walk while the interview, we also spoke about our favorite places in Yerevan.

“You know, I can’t mention any specific place I love. I’m in love with all the places here. I especially love having walks in peaceful places, where there are less people. That helps me to get positive energy and thoughts. I compose most of my songs while having a walk and also that helps me to get rid of anything negative…”.

By the way, Artsvik has also been to Armenia during the previous month to take part in Depi Evratesil as a guest star. She also shared what emotions she had while standing on that stage again.

“I was very happy to share that stage with this year’s participants. I really understood them a lot. I knew very well what they were feeling, even though everyone was smiling. With all of my heart I wanted everyone of them to win, although I knew that was impossible”.

As for Sevak Khanagyan, Artsvik thinks he’s a good choice for Armenia.

“I’m very happy for Sevak, he is a very professional singer and I’m sure he will represent Armenia perfectly. But as for the results, I can’t predict anything, because as you know, Eurovision is an unpredictable contest”,-says Artsvik also speaking about her fashion career.

“Everything is well in this field as well. I already have a show room in Moscow and I’m sure one day we will have another show room in Armenia as well. I’m very happy that we have a lot of orders since the start of our brand. It’s an honor for me, that people like my style and prefer to have a piece from my collection”.

We also couldn’t miss the fact that soon Armenian women will celebrate the day of Beauty and Motherhood on April 7. So, we also spoke about women and happiness.

“I consider myself a very happy woman, because I have my family next to me, I have a loving husband, who is always there to support me. I think every woman needs this to feel happy. I wish all the women and girls to live their lives the way they want and to follow their own dreams”.
