Where to go in Yerevan this week? (PHOTOS)

YEREVAN. – NEWS.am STYLE continues its weekly public notices regarding the noteworthy cultural events taking place in Yerevan, the capital city of Armenia.

On Monday starting at 7։30pm, the Tiezerk Band will give a charity concert at the Yerevan State Puppet Theatre, and it will perform Armenian national songs. The proceeds from the ticket sales of this concert will go to children with cerebral palsy. Admission is 1,500, 3,000, and 5,000 drams.

On Thursday at 7։30pm, renowned Russian Georgian singer, actress, and composer Tamara Gverdtsiteli will perform at Aram Khachaturyan Concert Hall.

On the same day, the 3rd Open European Kung Fu Championship will kick off in Yerevan. Athletes from fifteen countries will arrive in Armenia to compete in this tournament.

On Friday starting at 8pm, the Rotting Christ rock band from Greece will perform at the Yerevan State Puppet Theatre.

Also on the same day, numerous Armenian singers will give a charity concert at Aram Khachaturyan Concert Hall. The proceeds from the ticket sales of this event will be used for acquiring medicine for the children who are undergoing treatment at the neurological department of a hospital in Yerevan, and for purchasing first-aid supplies for the needy families’ children who are being admitted to the department of infectious diseases.
