The jury of the International Opera Awards announced the nominees for 2018. The list included the Armenian world-famous soloist of the Mariinsky Theater Hasmik Grigoryan from Lithuania for best singer award, the competition’s press service reported.
Previously, she has already become the owner of this award, but as The Best Young Singer.
The International Opera Awards was established in 2012 by English businessman and operatic fan Harry Hyman and editor of Opera Magazine and music critic for The Sunday Telegraph John Alison, who now heads the award jury.
The winners of the International Opera Awards 2018 will be announced in London on May 9.
