Five years ago, Kylie Minogue had filed a lawsuit against Kylie Jenner, when the latter had decided to register the KYLIE brand.
Minogue was against the registration of this brand because, in her view, this could have jeopardized her own image, since she herself had become known with the name “Kylie,” back in the 1980s.
Even though the Australian star had won the lawsuit, this had not obstructed her “adversary” from creating the Kylie Cosmetics brand. And thanks to the latter’s sales, Kylie Jenner has become the youngest billionaire in history.
Now Kylie Minogue has decided to resume the “competition” and has released her collection of cosmetics under the same name. The singer has announced the release of three KYLIE products—oils, lipsticks, and lip gloss—that have already gone on sale on her official website.
