Meghan Markle travelled to New York in September with her then four-month-old son Archie, Meghan’s friend, tennis star Serena Williams said.

Markle was attending Serena’s US Cup final against Bianca Andreescu, but official representatives of the Royal family said Meghan had left baby Archie at home with Prince Harry.

“She flew all the way with a newborn to see me play in New York and flew all the way back that night, and I probably couldn't have done that,” Serena told Access to Hollywood.

Serena, the wife of Armenian millionaire Alexis Ohanian, said Meghan and she are very close friends. 

“I call her, text her anytime, crying, she's always there.”
