Justin Bieber confessed to using drugs since he was 13, and addiction was developing rather fast as he soon moved onto other substances.

The confession is a part of his “Justin Bieber: Seasons” documentary released on YouTube.

The Canadian super star said he was using drugs to escape the pressure.

“I was young, like everybody in the industry and people in the world who experiment and do normal, growing up things,” he explained.

After a series of arrest and inappropriate behavior, he realized the situation was quite serious and decided to change his life.

“People don’t know how serious it got. It was legit crazy scary. I was waking up in the morning and the first thing I was doing was popping pills and smoking a blunt and starting my day. It just got scary,” he said.

Bieber could overcome his addition turning to religion and getting married to Hailey.
