'Should the Wind Drop' movie about Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) directed by Nora Martirosyan was chosen by a majority of votes to be nominated on Oscar as the Best Foreign Language Film.
It was chosen at the September 27 sitting of the Armenian National Film Academy.
Should the Wind Drop was in the official selection of the 73rd edition of Cannes International Film Festival and ACID Cannes program in 2020.
The movie was produced with the financial support of the National Cinema Center of Armenia and is a France-Armenia-Belgium coproduction.
The cast includes David Hakobyan, Hayk Bakhryan, Arman Navasardyan, Gregoire Colin, Narine Grigoryan, Vardan Petrosyan.
