Armenian name, Armenian brand with a special mission. Despite only one year of existence, the Naze brand, which presents Armenian-made bedding, has managed not only to gain a lot of demand and sales, but also to reject the Turkish production and prove that the Armenian one is more competitive.
Naze is one of the social initiatives of the Diaconia Charitable Fund, which unites the graduates of the Sewing educational program of the foundation, giving them a decent job opportunity in addition to their profession.
Behind Naze there are creative and strong women, and at the core, high-quality fabrics (cotton, satin) and a perfect local sewing.
Diaconia Charitable Fund has an educational program for the beneficiaries of the foundation who are ready and want to acquire a new profession.
“We have been implementing this program since 2011, but last year we created a workshop where the best graduates of the program are currently working, besides, we are growing and developing endlessly, creating jobs," Diaconia Charitable Fund’s vice-director Anna Jambazyan told NEWS.am STYLE.
“We had a workshop and by studying the market, our team decided to create high-quality Armenian-made bedding made from non-Turkish raw materials, which is very important. There is a big gap in the field of bedding production in Armenia, they are mainly imported from Turkey. Unfortunately, many people bought it consciously, some unconsciously, because they had no alternative, if, of course, we are not talking about a brand range. We import raw materials from Uzbekistan, Russia, and soon also from China," she added.
Naze offers its customers single, double and family bedding sets of different quality and, respectively, different prices, and in terms of design, the founders of the brand prefer simplicity and minimalism, avoiding very bright colors and active prints. One of the features of the brand is that the team tries to get the bedding set of the customer's preferred size in the shortest possible time, be it single, double or family size, and delivers to the mentioned address without unnecessary inconveniences.
"Initially, we bought small quantities of pieces, because we were afraid that maybe the product would not be in demand. Now the production volumes have increased, and each model is sewn in large quantities at once. At first, we had only 6 models, now we have about 15 models. It is also gratifying that our team has grown. All this, of course, was due to the increase in sales volumes; as a result, Naze is also expanding its range. In addition to bedding, it also presents Armenian-made tablecloths, aprons, towels and handmade wooden ladles,” Anna Jambazyan said.
The brand currently places orders online through Naze's Instagram and Facebook pages.
