American actor Bruce Willis was recently diagnosed with aphasia, forcing him to end his career, Page Six reported.
"As a family we wanted to share that our beloved Bruce has been experiencing some health issues and has recently been diagnosed with aphasia, which is impacting his cognitive abilities," follows a statement circulated on social media by the actor's relatives.
According to them, because of this, Willis will refuse to continue his career.
Aphasia is an acquired speech disorder that can occur after brain damage (stroke, head trauma, tumors or inflammatory process in the brain). Aphasia affects all language abilities: speaking, understanding, reading, writing.
