The members of the British rock band Queen announced that they will release a song recorded by Freddie Mercury, which no one had heard before, People reported.
The musical group's guitarist Brian May and drummer Roger Taylor said they had previously discovered a composition by the legendary rock band's lead singer, who died in 1991, but had later forgotten about it.
“We did find a little gem from Freddie, that we'd kind of forgotten about and it was — It's wonderful. Actually, it was real discovery,” the 72-year-old drummer said.
The artists admitted that for a long time they couldn't decide on the release of the song recorded by Mercury, but thanks to their team they managed to fully restore and digitize the composition, the name of which the members of the musical group keep a secret for now.
The musicians added that the presentation of the song by Freddie Mercury is planned for September of this year.
