The music award "Grammy" introduced five new nominations, the event's official website reported.

The National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences will now award a prize for Songwriter of the Year, Best Alternative Music Performance, Best Americana Performance, Best Spoken Word Poetry Album, and Best Score Soundtrack for Video Games and Other Interactive Media. There’s also a new award for Best Americana Performance. There will also be a special award for Best Song for Social Change in 2023.

The 64th Grammy Music Awards ceremony was held in Las Vegas and the results were announced 4 April. American singer Olivia Rodrigo won the Best New Artist category.
