Jean Paul Gaultier brand relaunched the production of the rapper 2Pac's favorite sunglasses model, Hypebeast reported.
French footballer Karim Benzema became the face of the advertising campaign.
JPG 56-6106 sunglasses are now available in gold, silver or black. Exactly those in the 1990s were worn by 2Pac. The cost of the model now is €390.
The footballer together with Jean Paul Gaultier designed the model of sunglasses, so it now has a mark KB9. That's Benzema's number on the field.
The sunglasses are released in 500 copies. The model reflects the iconic motifs of the fashion house: the label on the bridge of the nose, details of tortoiseshell leather, gold temples and tridents which are attached to the glasses.
