Nirvana wins lawsuit against ‘naked boy’ on its album cover

17:01, September 5

Music group Nirvana has won a lawsuit for child pornography, The  New York Post reported. It is specified that the lawsuit of Spencer Elden, pictured on the cover of the album Nevermind, was dismissed.

Elden, 31, argued that the photo, which depicted the four-month-old American in the nude, swimming underwater to a dollar bill on a fish hook, was child pornography. However, the judge noted that Elden waited too long before proceeding.

This is Elden's second such lawsuit against Nirvana. The first lawsuit on his part came to light in August 2021. The man claimed that his appearance on the cover of the record while growing up caused him stress, which caused him lifelong damage. As a result, he had to seek help from doctors.

The American filed suit against multiple defendants, including surviving band members Dave Grohl and Krist Novoselic, as well as the heirs of the late Kurt Cobain and the cover photographer. The man demanded at least $150,000 from each of them.
