The King and the other children of the late Queen, except for Prince Andrew, Duke of York, wear military uniforms. Prince William of Wales wears a military uniform, and Prince Harry was not allowed to wear a military uniform. he appeared in a tuxedo with combat medals.

The cut flowers from Buckingham Palace gardens have their own meaning. The myrtle flower included in the wreath was planted in the royal gardens from a sprig taken from the Queen's wedding bouquet. This flower is known as a symbol of a happy marriage.
