Title of Prince Harry's memoirs scares royal family

13:13, November 1

The title of the book of memoirs of the Duke of Sussex, Prince Harry, which is to go on sale January 10, 2023, frightened the royal family, Daily Mirror reports.

The 416-page book, which the grandson of Elizabeth II co-authored with Pulitzer Prize winner J. R. Moehringer, is titled "Spare." The title may be a reference to the fact that Prince Harry is the youngest son of Charles III and is in the line of succession behind Prince William and his three children. According to the publishers, the Duke of Sussex's memoirs contain unvarnished, harsh truth.

A high-ranking publication source called the very title of the book a new attack on the royal family. “Palace lawyers will undoubtedly be on standby in the New Year waiting to see what is in it," the insider said. He added that while Prince Harry's previous outbursts could be considered out of bounds, in this case we are talking about a real nuclear explosion.

Tom Bower, a renowned expert on the royal family and author of a biographical book about Charles III, said in an interview on Monday that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are using their position to make money and hurt the royal family. In addition, Bower claimed that the real author of the memoir is allegedly Prince Harry's wife Meghan Markle and called for her title to be stripped from her.

About the impending publication of Prince Harry's autobiographical book, it became known in July 2021. He completed work on the memoirs a month later. Many rumors and speculations appeared around their possible content. Us Weekly's source claimed that the royal family was shocked by the book. Metro wrote that the Duke of Sussex's memoirs would be a blow to the wife of King Charles III.

Earlier it was reported that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are not going to visit the royal family for Christmas. According to insiders, relations between the Duke of Sussex and his family in Britain are almost at their lowest level.
