The daughter of Monica Bellucci and Vincent Cassel, model Deva Cassel will star in the film by Italian director Laura Luchetti. The film is called The Beautiful Summer (originally - 'La bella estate'), Variety reported.

The film is based on Italian writer Cesare Pavese's novel La Bella Estate, which won the prestigious Italian literary prize Premio Strega in 1950 and has been translated into many languages.

Cassel will play a wayward model named Amelia. In the story, the heroine introduces her friend to the world of bohemian artists, where she falls in love for the first time.
