Marketing platform Launchmetrics reported that Louis Vuitton fashion house earned about 13.5 million rubles on the Internet in 48 hours, reports Business of fashion.
The photo of Annie Leibovitz, where the stars of world soccer Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi play chess on the suitcase of the brand, has gone viral on social networks.
In two days it was published more than 55 thousand times and collected a total of about 65 million likes, the most in the history of the platform Instagram (the owner of the company Meta recognized in Russia as extremist and banned). The Louis Vuitton fashion house has also reportedly earned about $13.5 million since the photo was published, according to marketing platform Launchmetrics, which is more than double Adidas' recent collaboration with K-Pop group Blackpink and about 40 percent more than the Versace campaign with Jennifer Lopez in 2019.
