Republic Square in Yerevan is hosting the official opening ceremony of Junior Eurovision 2022.
The 16 participants of this year's Contest will walk the red carpet and then enter the National Gallery of Armenia, where a random draw will take place in order to decide the running order of their entries.
The Opening Ceremony will be hosted by Dalita, who represented Armenia in the 2011 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, broadcaster Hamlet Arakelyan and Aram Mp3, who represented Armenia at the Eurovision Song Contest in 2014.
The winners from previous Junior Eurovision Song Contest will also be united in the Republic Square for the 20th anniversary of the Contest.
