A new wax figure of Rihanna, inspired by her look at the 2018 Met Gala ball, will appear at Madame Tussauds in New York City. Specifically on the singer's ensemble from the ball, "Heavenly Bodies: Fashion and the Catholic Imagination," NME reports.
Speaking as co-chair of the event, the star wore a beaded corset mini-dress and matching Margiela robe at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York the same year. In addition, RiRi wore a papal bishop's hat and crucifix necklace, alluding to the gala's religious theme. According to Billboard, the new figurine's outfit has many LEDs hidden in it.
The waxing presentation comes just days before Rihanna's highly anticipated return live on the Super Bowl Halftime Show this Sunday, February 12.
